Most people on this planet simply desire to live their lives in peace, without fighting against each other in the process. Food and shelter are basic requirements to all creatures. Privatization of water and food is ludicrous to begin with, since it cannot sustain life in the long run. Not even the life of the priviledged few. The earth does not only evolve around it’s own axis, it is merely a minuscule piece of matter, in a vast universe WAY beyond human comprehension.

A few months before his death Nobel Prize winning economist, Milton Friedman, gave this simple definition of free trade: “You can buy from whomever you want at whatever price that is mutually agreeable to you. You can sell to whomever you want whether he’s in this country or some other country at whatever price is mutually agreeable to you.”

Policies free market crazies have forced down the throats of 3rd world nations through the World Bank and IMF are a large contributing factor to the world food crisis, among other problems.
